About Project Surplus
Project Surplus is dedicated to reducing waste and uplifting communities in need. We partner with businesses and retailers across Atlanta to rescue surplus goods and redirect them to nonprofit organizations where they can make a meaningful impact.
Since 2023, we’ve partnered with organizations including Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Atlanta Mission, CURE Childhood Cancer, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Mary Hall Freedom Village, and Pebble Tossers.

Our Story
Project Surplus began with a simple realization: useful goods were being thrown away while local organizations struggled to access the resources they needed.
That became real when a party store loaded my car with brand-new surplus items that were destined for the trash. I saw an opportunity: what if there were an easy way to connect excess inventory with organizations that could put it to good use?
That idea became Project Surplus.
Today, we connect businesses and retailers with nonprofit organizations across Atlanta, helping keep usable goods out of landfills and putting them where they’re needed most.
